Ragmans Lane Farm is nestled in the Wye Valley on the edge of
the Forest of Dean. The bunkhouse is a carefully converted barn
situated on the farm and is the perfect place to get away from
the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The bunkhouse provides sleeping accommodation for up to 13 people
and with additional camping space is ideal for group holidays,
family reunions, special occasions and group events. Please note
bookings are for sole occupany only, this is not 'hostel' type
accommodation.
Situated in the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
and the Forest of Dean, Ragmans Lane Farm is 6 miles from the
market town of Ross on Wye and 9 miles from historic Monmouth.
It is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoor activities offered
by the Forest of Dean and explore the wider areas of Gloucestershire,
Herefordshire and the Welsh Borders.
The Forest of Dean and the surrounding area offers forest walks,
cycling, nature trails, horseriding, golf, canoeing and river
cruises. Many of these are on our doorstep! Local attractions
include Puzzlewood (used to film Doctor Who and Merlin), Dean
Heritage Centre, Clearwell Caves, Go Ape!, Taurus Crafts Art Centre,
Perrygrove Steam Railway and the Forest Sculpture Trail.
Ragmans Bunkhouse can be booked for weeks, weekends and mid week
breaks.
Ragmans is a place to escape the pace of modern life, to sit
with friends around the fire or next to the wood fired stove and
enjoy the simple pleasures, beauty and peace of the natural world.
