The Accommodation

"The site is beautiful and the bunkhouse an ideal place for socialising, eating and resting" June 2009

The bunkhouse is a converted barn with its own beautiful gardens and ample parking. The conversion is simple and rustic making full use of natural materials and green technology - and a bit unconventional!

Kitchen/Dining
The bunkhouse has a large kitchen/dining area equipped with a large fridge a LPG range style cooker and one large six ring hob. There is a supply of plates, mugs, cutlery and basic cooking utensils, including several large catering size pans. You are advised to bring with you any special kitchen equipment you require. There are trestle tables and benches in the dining area to enjoy meals together. The kitchen/dining area also has a wonderful ceramic stove to keep you warm and cosy and help dry off any wet clothes.

Please bring tea towels and towels, eco friendly cleaning materials will be provided, however, you are welcome to bring your own.

For indoors do bring a comfy pair of shoes or slippers.

Bedrooms
Sleeping Accommodation is in three dormitory style areas (one with 6 beds, one with 4 beds, one with 3 beds). All beds are supplied with a bed sheet, pillow and blanket. However you will need to bring additional bedding such as sleeping bag or duvet.

Group Space
Downstairs there is a large sitting area to relax in with sofas and bean bags. There is also a small and interesting library adjacent to the sitting area.

There are three eco-showers and two lo-flush toilets within the bunkhouse. There are also three compost loos, one adjacent to the bunkhouse and two in the campsite, just a short walk from the bunkhouse. The shower and toilets are shared facilities. However the Bunkhouse is sole occupany.

The garden has a covered cob bench seating area and grass terracing around a fire pit. There is a wood fired hot tub situated in the garden and a rang of perennial vegetables, fruit and herbs growing in it, which you are welcome to harvest.

There is ample parking in a dedicated car park, which is situated near the camping area.

Wireless broadband access is available on the farm, please bring your own Wi-Fi enabled laptop or pocket pc to access.

Please note the bunkhouse has steps and stairs which may present difficulties for those with mobility problems.
