Bread Making for Beginners
Making Real Bread: A one-day course in the Forest of Dean
Good bread is hard to come by and often expensive. Real bread
from good quality ingredients is more nutritious and digestible
and much more tasty. Making your own bread isn’t as difficult
as you might imagine.
On this course we will be using traditional methods to learn how
to make really delicious bread and to also fit it in to your daily
routine. The course will cover the 5 stages
of bread making – mixing, fermenting, shaping, proving and
baking. At the end of the course you will go home with bread,
recipes, an understanding of the bread making process, and the
confidence to continue making homemade delicious bread at home.
This course is for all people who love good bread whether they
are novices in bread making or have had a go and don’t get
the result they want. Even if you have an unused bread maker you
will learn how you can get the bread you want using a bread machine
as part of the process.
