The garden has a covered cob bench seating area and grass terracing around a fire pit.

There is a hot tub* situated in the garden, open from April until end of September. This will be set up and ready to use from Friday to Sunday only.

You are welcome to explore the farmland, which includes its own woodland made up primarily of Ash, Cherry, Oak, Walnut and Lime.

There is also a beautiful pond just across from the Bunkhouse which is teeming with life and has its own resident Heron, a must for any bird enthusiasts.

Stepping just outside of the farm, is the Forest of Dean which has 27,000 acres of ancient woodland to explore, including attractions such as Puzzlewood and Go Ape.

To the south east is the Severn Vale famed for its tidal bore and orchards, and the Wye Valley area of outstanding natural beauty is a walking and river sports haven.

* please note the hot tub may not always be available

  • Sustainable Bee Keeping

Bees for Development is an independent organisation founded in 1993, achieving charitable status in 1999. Bees for Development helps beekeepers to do more and better beekeeping, in order to build sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their families - and conserve biodiversity. In addition to project work in Africa and Asia, we run an extensive information service working at the heart of an international network of people and organisations involved with apiculture in developing countries. Bees for Development is run by experienced professionals operating out of offices in Monmouth, South Wales, UK.
