The Yurt is comfortable and spacious for two people.

It is equipped with a wood burning stove for those chilly nights, and a complimentary basket of wood is included.

There is a handmade kingsize bed and four pillows for your comfort, and a table and two chairs to sit on and read your morning papers or enjoy your meals indoors.

The Yurt has an assortment of crockery, cutlery and cooking pots and a stove kettle. Tea towels and a small amount of complimentary cleaning supplies and loo rolls are also provided.

Please bring your own towels as these are not provided.

There is ample storage space under the bed and tea light lanterns to create a soft glow in the evenings.

Groceries are not provided, however, meat, vegetables and general groceries can be purchased locally or in nearby Cinderford or Ross on Wye.

We ask people not to wear outdoor shoes in the Yurt, so you may wish to bring a pair of slippers or thick socks.

There is a basic equipped kitchen outside the Yurt in a separate structure, which includes a sink and washing up area with hot running water.

There is an outside fire pit, and a kotlich for open-fire cooking.

There is a compost loo near to the Yurt just above the firepit and a super open-air shower just behind the kitchen. We have ensured your stay is completely self-contained.

Please do bring a torch or lantern, as lighting inside the Yurt is low level and and a torch may be useful when walking around after dark.

There are no electrical points within the Yurt.

Sorry no pets or animals are allowed on site.

  • Wild Therapy

12-19th September 2019 at Ragmans Lane Farm

Ragmans farm provides us with the perfect setting for our one-week immersive Wild Therapy training. With 60 acres of beautifully managed organic farmland, nestled within the Forest of Dean, it sits on the edge between wildness and domesticity. This is the edge we will be exploring within ourselves, dancing between our defensive strategies and our innate wildness, expressive and free.

    We will be exploring:
    • How to sit in the belly of the earth and directly experience it’s deep and unconditional holding
    • Our human place in the community of all things
    • Working on the edge between fear-based strategies and opening to our embodied wildness
    • Connection to ourselves, others, and the more than/other than human
    • What spontaneously arises in and around us in response to an enquiry with nature
    • Feel into and be with the pertinent, magical, and innate wisdom of our wild community

This might be a journey for you as a therapist wishing to bring more wildness into your work or it might be a personal journey of experiencing more wildness in your life, or both. Whatever your intentions you are welcome to join us in the stunning setting of Ragmans Farm, with woodland, orchards, wild life pond, hot tub, yurt and outdoor fire.

The accommodation is extremely comfortable with facilities to work, cook, and eat as a community. There is also room for camping for those that wish to sleep and dream with the Earth.

Cost: £800 including accommodation and all meals.
