Ragmans Lane Market Garden - our produce

Our offerings are varied yet refined. Our staples are available from March until December and our speciality crops change with the seasons.

Staples

Our staples include leaf crops; mixed leaf salad, rainbow chard, spinach and kale. These are sold alongside a revolving cast of heritage carrot, beetroot, fennel and radish varieties which we keep going for as long as the season allows.

Specials

Spring kicks off the specials with purple sprouting broccoli, little gem and barese chard heads followed by green garlic and spring onions in May and June. In summer our fruit becomes productive with various courgette, tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers making the most of the warmer weather. Last up in autumn we have leeks, more purple sprouting and a number of different squash to keep you well fed.

Chef’s Specials

As if that wasn’t enough, we are often experimenting and growing to request for a number of local chefs. This is where the weird and wonderful grows; beans that look like cattle, chillies that taste like lemons, tomatoes that look like green zebras... you get the picture.
